I love to go to BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). This is my 8th year and I have never encountered a better bible study which trains you to study God’s Word and apply it to your life. This year I am teaching the children and thoroughly enjoying the challenge and building relationships with the 4 and 5 year olds. What a blessing!
My songwriting is thoroughly influenced by my study in the bible and right now we are going through Acts of the Apostles. Therefore the song I am working on right now is about Jesus Christ, being the fulfillment of all the prophecies throughout the Bible, the Savior of the world and about the Holy Spirit whom God gave us after Jesus ascended to heaven 40 days after his resurrection. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help me to be as bold as Peter and the rest of the disciples were after the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost. In unity, the disciples stood as Peter addressed the crowd. “Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. ” By Jesus’ sacrifice we are saved. All we need to do is believe in Him, repent of our sins, turn away from our old ways and turn to Him. There is no greater love than His.
Psalm 145 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your might acts.
